Cyber Huntsville Committees

Cyber Huntsville leadership supports the Cyber Huntsville mission through the following committees: Economic Development, Exercises, Workforce Development, Education, Initiatives, Membership, Events, and Marketing. To read more about the committees, click the link next to each description below.

Economic Development

The Cyber Huntsville Economic Development Committee is often the “connective tissue” between other CH committee initiatives as well as our primary interface between our membership, cyber practitioners, industry, and government. The Committee is dedicated to helping develop the quality and quantity of the SUPPLY of cyber talent in the Tennessee Valley area as well as advocating and promoting the region as THE hub for new and expanded government and private-sector cyber initiatives. Members of the Committee and CH Leadership achieve these goals through various initiatives including working with our elected officials, briefing industry and government leaders on the various capabilities in the Tennessee Valley region, and putting on special events such as government/industry panels to share ideas. Our ultimate goal is to serve our membership and the Cyber Huntsville mission to raise cyber awareness and posture.

Marketing

The marketing committee provides strategic/tactical communications and promotions of events and activities. The Marketing Committee also monitors and administers website and social media content. In addition, the marketing committee will reach out to other organizations throughout the Southeast to develop cross-promotional opportunities within the cyber community.

Exercises

Table Top Exercises brings together stakeholders and processes to determine the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and  Threats (SWOT) of Cyber Threats to the community. The event documented improvements from all functional areas from all government entities to industry down to the local residents in the supply chain.
